Keep in mind that raw potatoes are a
definite no-no for puppies.
Of course, you shouldn’t feed your puppy
potatoes only. However, potatoes are not
as harmful as many people think.
First of all, it is impossible to poison a
dog with potatoes on the condition that
it’s a high-quality product and it’s not
the basis of a dog’s diet.
If you want to feed your puppy potatoes,
choose the variety with low starch
content. At the same time, remember that
you shouldn’t give your puppy raw, fried,
or salted potatoes.
If you feed your dog a potato, it should
be baked or boiled.
Keep in mind that the tubers that you plan
to give to your pet should not be green.
Of course, boiled potatoes shouldn’t be
hot. Just like other puppy food, it should
be at room temperature.
If your dog has a starch intolerance,
don’t give them potatoes.
